Dave was absolutely amazing! My friends and I came in there for social Thursday, and it was the best time. We made a bowl and a cup of choice with so many awesome stencil choices. It was my first time ever doing pottery and Dave helped so much making sure I had decent looking material. He was so nice and helpful and they have an awesome store attached with material that Dave and co workers make that is so beautiful I wish I could have bought it all. Highly recommend this place for shopping and for even any pottery class. They also have full time student classes here and some students were there while we were. Watching the pottery they were making was so frickin good. So clearly the classes are amazing too. Please go here! And I hope you have Dave as an instructor! He’s also a vet so that’s a double plus. Overall amazing time. I will do it again when I’m back in town.

I am so glad i found this studio. I've been taking lessons for several months and have learned a ton. The classes are so much fun! Plus, you get lots of open studio hours to practice what you learn in class. The teachers are excellent and all the people in the studio are really friendly. Gem of a place!!!

My husband and I did a pottery class at The Hive and David was fantastic! He explained everything great and guided us through the process of making a cup and a bowl while still letting us get as creative as we wanted. He also works great with kids, and all around I would highly recommend The Hive for anyone who is interested in a fun and laid-back pottery experience.

This studio has been one of my favorite studios I've spent time at. I had gotten a 1 month studio membership during the summer of 2021. Although my time was short there, everyone was really welcoming, I loved their selection of glazes, energy in the studio and the plentiful open studio hours. I'll be back for another month in Dec and I definitely recommend this place, whether for a membership or a class, you'll have a great time.
